IBS INFORMATION SYSTEMS LTD provides a guarantee of smooth operation of the software for a period of sixty (60) days, from the date of delivery and installation of the software on the customer's equipment. The warranty covers exclusively the software that we designed and implemented in accordance with the technical specifications agreed with the customer, prior to implementation.
We undertake FREE OF CHARGE the obligation to correct any damage or malfunction that is demonstrably due to the sole fault of the software produced. This obligation only concerns the repair of the code or the repair of the customer's software and files up to the last backup copy of the files that the customer maintains under his own responsibility.
We have no obligation to solve a problem FREE of charge, during the warranty period and even later, for problems related to one or more of the following causes:
- a problem with the storage media, the server's operating system, or other software,
- incorrect handling by the user,
- attack by a third party (hacking) or attacks by computer viruses,
- if the customer continues to operate the software despite the existence of a problem, without notifying us,
- upgrading versions of operating systems, other associated applications, or both
- firmware of devices - equipment, without our prior written approval,
- tampering with the software or files by an unauthorized person,
- inability to perform our obligations to the customer due to force majeure.
The client has 60 days to test the produced software and send us their comments so that we can make the necessary corrections. At the end of the 60-day warranty, any damage or malfunction proven to be the sole fault of the software produced will be charged and the repair service will be offered for a fee.
With the preventive software maintenance service, every possible effort will be made to ensure the functionality of the produced software in a timely manner in the new system environments under configuration that will result from the new versions of the operating system, libraries, firmware, and other cooperating third-party software. The possible existence of errors (bugs) in the software is an inherent element of it and is due to the complexity of modern information systems. The technical reality worldwide is not the non-existence, but the existence of bugs in software "No software, without bugs". A code component must be tested to ensure that it does not do what it is not supposed to do.
In addition, IBS INFORMATION SYSTEMS LTD can offer the following services for a fee:
- technical support of any kind for the customer's equipment (computers, routers, printers, etc.),
- technical – consulting services for software reinstallation due to purchase of new machines, machine changes, etc.,
- adding new or changing/extending existing functionalities of the produced software (type v.2.x.x) at the customer's request,
- repair of any type of damage proven to be due to the use of new versions of the operating system, libraries, firmware, and other cooperating third-party software.
